This is for the person who is looking to obtain insurance for their vessel, assess its general condition and for the prospective buyer. Also called a Condition and Value Survey or pre-purchase survey.
Damage Survey
Unfortunately this is performed to assess the extent of damage, recommend repairs, estimate repair cost, and if requested, possible cause.
Sea Trial
For a more intensive look at the vessels performance we can take the vessel out and put it through its paces. Typically taking 1 to 2 hours. Can be part of general inspection/survey or part of Consultation
Shipping Container/Cargo Inspection
I am Certified by World Wide Container Surveys to inspect all types of shipping containers and their cargo. We use criteria from Unified Container Inspection and Repair Criteria (UCIRC) and criteria from the Code of Federal Regulations ( Title 46 ).
State Safety Inspection
The State requires an inspection to keep your mooring/slip permit current. This is a basic inspection and can be done at the dock or your mooring.
